I am a writer. And I’m still trying to be a writer. I’ll be saying that forever! There is no finish line. There will always be a better way to say it; my job is to seek out the better way.

By working in all mediums for global technology brands, I’ve learned the power of creativity to build brand identities and compel audiences to act.

Currently, I’m looking for challenging career growth opportunities. I want to continue learning and developing my skills, particularly in inclusive communication and equitable storytelling.

My own story is rich in material. I grew up in eastern Montana and spent my childhood believing the world was made chiefly of sky. Studying journalism and film brought me to the rolling wheat fields of eastern Washington and the highlands of Scotland. I’ve lived my adult life in Seattle and remain enamored with this evergreen city.

Before writing professionally, I had an exciting career in the film business as a camera assistant. In 2017, following my longtime dream, I went back to school to study content writing.

During my four years at Designit and 3 years freelancing, I’ve honed my skills writing web copy, video scripts, digital ads, social media, email, event collateral, retail experience, user experience, messaging frameworks, and brand books for global clients Acer, Microsoft, Amazon, Google, and Zillow.

I’m always open to opportunities. I’d love to talk to you.
